I saw them this morning. I wasn't sure if it was the li'l Ricks & Rickettes (ha ha, rickets) or a polygamy special on A & E. At least the hardcore Amish rock the basic black & white.

We'd better be careful, or we'll have to apologize like Tony Norman. What a wuss.

Although I'm formerly of that grand #2 party city in the country! I do visit often...

Oh definitely, I never had delusions either, it's just that the levels of impartiality surprise me sometimes. Seven years living in Boston dulled me to it a bit though when I was reading it every day. Between the Globe and the Herald, there's no middle ground.

The wine and beer thing was annoying; now that I'm out of the state, it's nice to be able to stop by the grocery store to pick up a 6 pack or whatever. Who knows though, they did take away the ban on Sundays.

Also, Heath Shuler won - hopefully he ends up as a better Congressman than NFL QB:

BTW, looks like they're calling Montana for the Democrats leaving only Virginia to go (and there'll almost certainly be a recount there as the margin is small enough that the state will do it for free at the loser's request.)

/Not sure if everyone's calling it or not but there's about a 4,000 vote difference with 99% reporting.

What would all the packie owners do?

Santorum's family looks retarded. Whenever I see the word "Santorum," I think of Dan Savage. Awesome!

That said, it is a beautiful day to be a Democrat.
Just pointing out.. Topinka is an Alpha Gam.

I know sometimes we feel like our vote doesn't always count or even mean anything..... especially if we're a dem in a red state and vice versa. However, we have one race here in NC for our state house (I think it's the NC 100) where the winner is up by........ 7 votes.

I can't believe the people in my state voted for a guy who lists his economic honor society from 1979 on his webpage, and also believes breast cancer and abortion are linked. He has a JD, and isn't an MD, wtf.

UGH

And Virginia has now been called. It is believed that Allen will concede by tomorrow night.

33girl mentioned that the Santorum kids were dressed like the Amish.

The doll that kid's holding looks like it got the beat down after daddy didn't get re-elected.

The more I look at that picture the funnier it is. They remind me of the quiver full Duggars.

A better picture.

The doll's dress matches the kid's.

I'm sorry (ah, who am I kidding...I'm not!), but that's one ugly family.
