i'm not an alpha xi, but i thought i'd offer up some ideas too. one thing that really caught my eye freshman year was all of the cute little signs the different chapters made for their new members to put on their dorm room doors. the alpha gam (me!) ones were huge squirrels with each girls name on it and the letters. if you have a big dorm system on campus it's a quick, easy way to get your letters out to the girls your actually trying to reach. ie. other freshman/sophomore girls. other than that, our chapter always did the little newspaper announcements too. especially for things like lavaliering, engagement, or even exchange dinners. it might just be me, but i always thought a lot of the chapters who congratulated their sister on an engagement or lavaliering in the paper. ah well, that's my two cents.
