Ok, i am going to have to start DVR-ing this show!
I remember when i got married I told my girls "if I ever start acting bridezilla, feel free to kick my ass!"
I only had a few bridezilla moments (well Mr. 1228 thinks I had more than that)...not NEARLY as bad as these heffas though
if you want to read about bridezillas, check out www.etiquettehell.com
Holy shite!

I watch this show whenever I stumble upon it. It's usually entertaining. Some of the Bridezillas are worse than others. Some of them are just bitches who happen to be getting married. Others are kinda humorous and they seem to just be stressed out.
Is there ever a such thing as Groomzillas or are men just not as caring or emotional about this whole wedding thing? I know there's this place Up North that does a one-day sale on wedding gowns and the women rush in, in a frenzy, sometimes hurting each other. Just another thing to make women look crazy or uncontrollably emotional, for whatever reasons.
Instead of encouraging women to bond with their inner Bridezilla so that they can be filmed (and look like an idiot), folks should be encouraging them to fight their inner Bridezilla, relax, and enjoy their upcoming nuptials and lifetime commitment ahead.
But that wouldn't make for good reality TV.

Yeah, it's called Filene's Basement in NYC and they have an annual bridal sale. I've never been & don't wanna go but have seen it on the boob-tube. Utter madness.

This is a show? It'd be a good one.
I've seen some mean brides -- some worse bride's maids. My wife was a bride's maid (or is it matron? I don't keep up with this stuff) recently. One of her co-bride's maids appointed herself the "Honorary Maid of Honor." Actually told the bride's mother to get that printed on the programs (which happened).
She then proceeds to tell me that I can't sit at the head table with my wife. What a jackass. We no longer socialize with her.

You sound like me...LOL. I always have to ask people which is which. I think it's the Matron of Honor that's the married one. Don't quote me on that.
Special occasions and life changing events like weddings bring the crazeeeeee out of some people.

Yes this is actually a show! It makes for really funny reality tv. I have yet to see a really psycho bridesmaid. A couple have come close though.
And a married head bridesmaid is called the matron of honor. The single head bridesmaid is the maid of honor.

Why isn't a married bridesmaid called a bridesmatron?
Doesn't maid seem to indicate that the individual is somehow 'available'?

Well to some extent I guess that she is. A married Maid of Honor is a Matron of Honor. However, bride's matron just doesn't flow as well, so maybe we simply aren't using it.

This (Irish?) woman is doing a book (or a movie?) on it. She went to get her dress and was intrigued by the experience. During her visit a lady had her arm broken. It's straight Pandabearmonium.
I'd rather spend the extra $300 bucks on a dress for the convenience of not having to do a "battle of the brides-to-be."
