Holy Crap! This was an awesome episode. So does this mean that Desmond can see into the future? Or bits and pieces of it? Interesting.
Next week: Poor Sawyer is getting the crap kicked out of him. Damn those Others. I hate them.
Go Locke! I like how he becomes the hunter. I really look forward to him finding Jack, Kate, & Sawyer again. BTW, did anyone else catch our new resident HOTTIE on the island towards the end? YUM!!! I believe that Locke called him Paolo.

Did I blackout or something????? Was there or was there not a scene where Locke threw a knife and stabbed Hurley in the chest?!? Then after the commercial break there's no mention of it at all?!? I'm so confused I could cry.

In Entertainment Weekly's Lost Update thing a week or two ago it said a new island resident would be in competition for Claire. So maybe that's him......he's cute. But not he's my hobbit Charlie

The knife didn't hit Hurley. It his some thing that looked like a pie tin he was holding in front of him.

Other things I noticed:

The guy Eddie was wearing a Geronimo Jackson shirt. I believe that band was named in an earlier episode. Not sure of the significance but just something I picked up on.

Seeing Boone again makes me so happy.

I saw naked Desmond ass though I was kinda hoping they'd pan down!

Thank you!!! My phone started ringing when that happened and I was freaking from the thought of dead Hurley. I guess that's why I didn't realize it was the water bottle and not his chest. I guess that also explains why he was all wet later. I just thought he was super sweaty.

His whole "you know I detest you" to Locke was just really stupid.

Desmond in tie dye is funny!

That body on the floor of the cave had a symbol of The Pearl hatch on it.
Weird.

Shoot I missed the hot stuff. I was watching and I cannot recall Paolo! Someone remind me of the scene?

eah....

the episode was alright for me.... i wasn't overly excited with this one as the previous two weeks, although i was happy to see Locke revert back to his old self....

Desmond's 'dejavu' ability will be very intersting as time goes on - i see that being a major input to future events on the island

and the end (where they introduced the two new folks) was not as 'transparent' as it should have been... i hope the acting gets better as the season moves on

Excited about next week!

I liked this episode much more than the first two, and it went by SO fast. I'm not looking forward to next week -- I am SICK of the others and their "we're not the bad guys but we're going to imprison and torture you guys but OMG we're not the bad guys." That is OLD.

Holy crap Boone looked hot.

Before or after the blood?

I know it must be integral to the plotline, but I don't get why Kate didn't start laying the smack down on Juliet after Sawyer started kicking ass and taking names. Of all the chicks on the island, she's the most capable to take anyone who messes with her.

I'm gonna go to abc.com and rewatch the episode so I can catch Paolo this time around.

The next episode is called Every Man for Himself and is centered on Sawyer.

The one after that one is called The Cost of Living and focuses on Mr. Eko.

Oh good...I loved the first one about Mr. Eko when he was a kid, and he saved his brother who became a priest and he had to follow a life of crime. After his brother died, I don't believe that he became a "real" priest (sworn in to the priesthood, or whatever it is they do)...I only believe that Eko was a "de facto" priest (i.e. behaving as one, but not really ever being formally sworn / oath'd into the priesthood).

I know that this season, we're going to get an Others episode that deals with them prior to the plane crashing on the island.
