I guess I've never really been exposed to that. I went to school in Gainesville, so apart from the occasional serial killer, it's safe as houses.

Well, not every college town is as sleepy as Gainesville. A lot of colleges are in bona fide cities, and if they're older, are in older central parts of the city.

Thieves are attracted to college areas, in part because the kids are usually careless with their money and possessions.

what i was told is that the gentleman who passed was a friend of the houseboy in AOPi. He saw his friend down on telegraph, and thought he was "really, really drunk" and took him back up to wear he lived to help him. Unfortuneatly, he was shot in the stomach.

That was the story I was told anyways.
