It just depends on where you are in your AOII life and your activity level. It doesn’t have to be an either or but it winds up that way occasionally. Right now, it’s about international and our big picture. I do care deeply about my alumnae and collegiate chapters and I will always root for them to be first. However, most of my good AOII sister-friends are not from either one.

Ditto. I think about it this way, you're in your collegiate chapter for 3-4 years, but you're an alumna for the rest of your life. For me, it's more about personal connections I've made through my AOII experiences, and I've been lucky enough to experience these locally and Internationally. I remain loyal to my own collegiate chapter, yet I will always have a place in my heart for each of the collegiate chapters I've been associated with as an alumna.

I don't know which I'm more loyal to. I guess I'm more loyal to my chapter because I don't really know many other AOII's from other schools, maybe one or two. I want to go to conventions and things like that to meet other AOIIs, I think that would be really fun.
