I think Auburn and LSU are in similar territory, both have looked good but at times sloppy, but I imagine both have a lot more in the bag they're gonna bring out on Sat. I know Tubs has said Auburn has been very vanilla thus far, and I imagine LSU is similar. I think Auburn will have a very strong chance to win if we can put together the running and passing games (showing one of each in the first 2), and eliminate mistakes. Similarly, LSU will need to get a good running game going, as they've yet to have a 100 yard rusher against 2 very mediocre opponents. I'm gonna be nervous all week, but I'd probably be sleepless if we were playing in Baton Rouge.

Vincent didn't run for 100 on saturday? Man that is surprising....it looked like he was having his way with them when I was watching......It'll be a good one to watch for sure.
Waiting for the line to come out....am definitely putting some cash on this one.

USC and Nebraska this weekend, and the entire state is seriously getting antsy...or at least it feels that way. I haven't seen people this amped up about a game since Oklahoma came to Lincoln back in 2001 when they were #2 and we were #3...actually the Notre Dame game that year might have had an even bigger buildup more in line with this week. But it was definitely that season since people have been going this nuts.
College Gameday is going to be out in LA, and I guarantee you that the crowd will be more than 50% Nebraska fans...I just don't see USC's bandwagon getting pulled out of the barn at 7am...
I think we have a shot at winning, but am actually (trying to be realistic) expecting a loss. Should be much closer than the 18.5 points the line opened at today. We're going to have to play perfect though, and get either a defensive or special teams TD to really have a shot.
Amycat, where you at?

Actually the USC crowd is pretty good about showing up for Game Day. Not ME mind you, but the students.
I'll be at the game. I don't think its a slam dunk win for us, but I do expect us to win. I also expect to see a decent game. I just hope I don't, lol, I am more comfortable when SC is winning by 40. lol
NE will need to play perfect, as USC is good a capitalizing on mistakes. Sold old Coliseum crowd of 92K should be nice and loud and a sea of cardinal and gold.

Hey Betaboy,
Whats up with your team and all your fans thinking you guys are back after beating La Tech and some team I've never heard of in my life? Now one of your players is predicting a victory? Nebraska. Jesus, the only good thing that ever came out of Nebraska was that hot tutor chick on Tommy Lee's show.
Too bad I'm gonna miss the game tho

Hey y'all!!!! Any Auburn fans here that would like to give a realistic view of the LSU-Auburn matchup this week, I would love to hear it!!!
It is funny reading a few Auburn and LSU message boards.
I think LSU has a decent shot of winning, but no doubt it will be a tough game. We (LSU) really need to fix mistakes that were made in the first two games and clean up a few other things.
but I'm biased toward LSU
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

First off, her name is Natalie, I've known her since freshman year, and she's in my med school class. I actually sat next to her today in Pharmacology...I promise you Bobby, she's out of your league.
As for football, It's not so much that we're back b/c we won our first two games, but how we won them. After two years of relying far more on luck and superior athleticism to squeak out wins (like 3 defensive TD's against Wake Forest, or two blocked FG's against Pitt both last season), we're blowing teams out again, bringing in the scrubs and still dominating...not quite like the Osborne days when the 6th teamers were in there still scoring on three play drives but as good as it's been since 2001. This new offense is finally coming of age and the order in the Big XII North is restored...that's how we're finally relevant again.
I honestly don't think we're going to win, but some people are pollyannas and can't look at things objectively. The CB...he's just confident, that's all. I honestly don't know why he said those things. As this great CFB blog http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/?p=2546 points out, there are three rules during USC week...love the 'stache on Coach Callahan too.

Last time I checked, Auburn and LSU have VERY similar stats in that area. LSU didn't break out the big guns b/c of the early leads taken against our opponents the first two games.
(no doubt they were mediocre teams, even though most of the "experts" said that we would have a tough time beating arizona.)
don't worry, you'll get introduced to the passing game on Saturday, as well as the running game.
(sorry, I had to do a minor amount of trash talking. I'll be back to take my whippin' later if I deserve it! ha)

I think its awesome that Gameday decided to go to Nebraska USC, because, when I think college football, I think LA. ESPN is getting so ridiculous, but whatever, what Gameday is best used for is putting a game in the spotlight, and LSU-Auburn will be in the spotlight plenty...
As for the LSU-AU game, I'll talk to you on Sunday. War damn Eagle.
