I have no idea what you're talking about. "low church" means nothing to me. However, what I meant was that when dating sorority girls in the south, you generally don't have to consider things like religion. For me, I couldn't seriously date a girl who wasnt a Christian, but I really don't have to worry about things like that. I'm sure there are lots and lots of northern Christian girls, but thankfully down here, they're the rule, not the exception.

It's about how a service is conducted in the Anglican/Episcopalian church.

The "high church" service resembles the rituals of a Roman Catholic mass, including Eucharist.

The "low church" is less interested in above traditions, and services often taken from the Morning or Evening Prayer services from the Book of Common Prayer. According to Wikipedia, the Diocese of Sydney (Australia) has rejected the BOC completely.

There is also a "broad church" movement, which encompasses both high and low church ideals.

Oh and a question about religion: Aren't there different denominations of Christianity in the South too? I can't imagine that everyone is part of one denomination and I know that not all denominations agree with each other.

In all seriousness, I do understand what people are saying about preference. Although I wouldn't exclude someone because of race/ethnicity/whatever, I wouldn't necessarily prefer it either. If macallan or shinerbock were standing next to, let's say, Morris Chestnut, my eyes would go to Morris Chestnut first. That's just my preference. Now if I got to know someone that looked like macallan or shinerbock (notice I didn't say them; I KNOW they would never date a mulatto northerner ) and we liked each other, then I might date them. It's not a big deal. However, the first person I would look at or be attracted to would be someone like Morris Chestnut.

However, if macallan or shinerbock look anything like Brad Pitt or Triple H, my whole argument is null and void. LOL

CTFU!
