And having informationals/rush is not a form of recruitment. At the point these are held, most of the interests have already been working to show that that is the organization they seek. If it were a form of recruitment, then I would've been able to attend two or more of the Divine Nine Sororities' informationals and submit my information to all of them and be selected to one or more of them without ever attending any of those sororities' events or introducing myself to them. And I think we all know that DEFINITELY isn't how it works. And like showstopper_1908 said, at the point of informationals/rush, the members know pretty much who they're thinking of taking. It's just more of a formality.
