It is definitely not too late! People will definitely understand you signing up late--I knew people that didn't go through recruitment for months, or even years, because they had preconceived notions about sororities that turned out to be false. Have fun, and remember to be yourself!!! Good luck...

There is not a published due date, but here in Houston, the Alumnae Panhellenic advised PNMs to get them in by July 1 for schools including UT. However, this won't count for or against you-- our sorority alumnae group just sent off another huge stack last week to various schools including UT. I know they received the resumes and PNM info well well in advance. This deadline is more out of consideration for rec writers and the chapters to begin processing them sooner.

You will need one rec for each UT chapter. If possible, additional alumnae should write you a letter of support for that chapter as well. Recs will be helpful at UT. Before anyone goes spouting off at me that I'm scaring the PNMs, I would like to qualify this statement by saying: I live in Texas, I work with Longhorns and Aggies and War Eagles (Oh My!) and more, these people live for recruitment and I participated in this year's Alumnae Panhellenic open house for rising freshmen where some 500 eager young HS seniors learned all about recruitment from alumnae and Pan delegates from various southern schools. These schools, along with many others do take recs seriously. Thanks.

Best of luck, texassweetie, and GO LONGHORNS!

Ok now that i know it's UT, that is one of the more serious ones in Texas. I've got a lot of friends who go there, and my grandmother is an alum from one of the chapters, so if you need any help or advice, let me know by PM or email!! and good luck with recruitment. DEFINITELY look into the what-to-wear information on their panhellenic website, and try to contact the austin alumnae panhellenic if you can, their website is http://www.austinpanhellenic.org.

(and i'm from and living in austin, so if you need any help with getting around or anything, glad to help!)
