FIU, on the other hand, has many students who are the first (women) in their families to go to college, much less join a sorority. And the sororities DO get many transfers in from other schools, like UF, FSU, & UCF who affiliate.
Actually, unless it's just that no one has ever mentioned it to me, I don't know anyone who transfered from another school and reafiliated, I'm sure there are some, I just wouldn't say many. Most of the girls are home grown and live near by and haven't been to other schools.
