School/Team nick names

I've always been partial to the UC Santa Barbara Banana Slugs.

This isn't a nickname but the initials "IUPUI" are famous in the college basketball ranks.

UCSB's mascot is the Gauchos. Or as Jim Rome would say, " Errr Go Gauchos!"

Ours is not an animal or anything but since they changed the image I like to make fun of it.

That was our original mascot (yes its a rip off of OU i think)


But our new one looks like a gay cowboy (no one really likes it)

IUPUI = Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (pronounced Ew-E-Poo-E)

Frankly I think Indiana as a state should win this one....

Indiana State University- Sycamores, I swear they are named for trees!

My high school was the Bulldogs, normal tell you hear this, the dance team was the Bulldolls, the swim team the Bullfrogs and Lady Bullfrogs. As swimmers our coach gave us frogs as good luck charms one year.

We were the Bulldogs in high school too.

My soccer team refused to be called the Lady Bulldogs. We decided that if we were going to be something "feminine" it was going to be the Bitches.

Clearly, we remained the Bulldogs
