I am sure Dues vary Org. to Org.
I dont know what % Insurance is, but it is pretty big in dues.
Actually only a smal % of Dues go to HQs as compared to Chapters. The HQs are using Numbers who pay dues to budget costs. All GLOs ask for donations which can be used for Educational purposes which cover a lot of areas.
Scholarships, Educational Meetings (Regional and General Assemblys), ELCs who travel to instruct Chapters.
But, remember the costs of running a HQ and Staff, Magazine etc.
So, dont count House rent, there gets to be a gray area here.
We also have parlor fees. Fees for Members who do not live in the House (If there is one), as they use it and will do wear and tear on it.
Repairs, and utilities cost money that need to be paid.
GLOs are a Business or there would not be Officers who plan and budget Money would there?
