Lightbulb This is How I tell The Difference

Hey all!!

DOVE1920, it's so funny that you ask that because I was discussing this recently with my students. They always fling "hater" around when it seems to me not everyone they accuse is being a "hater". They just seem to have an unpopular opinion.

In my opinion, a person is not a hater if they can logically and substancially back up what they are saying. If a person feels so strongly about something that they take the time and effort to find concrete facts that support their opinion, then I respect it and not dismiss it as the rantings of a hater. It always seems to me that true "haters" always have something negative to say about anything. Most of all, they never have any concrete reasoning behind what they say.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a safe a joyous holiday. I certainly did.
