Clear, or white, diamonds are the most popular. But, colored diamonds are rarer and therefore, more valuable.
The most popular colored diamonds are the canary yellow ones. They also come in pink, brown, black and green. Green is the rarest and most valuable colored diamond.
When buying colored diamonds, make sure that you ask the jeweler if they are naturally colored or treated. Treated diamonds are heated to make the color more even or brighter. The naturally colored ones are much more valuable.
