I would encourage you to rush but keep your options open. I rushed spring at my school when 2/3 of the sororities were going through as well, and it was a great experience to feel out all the houses and what exactly rush was going to be like. Fall rush can be considerably more competitive (that is, if formal rush is in the fall at your school) and can be a lot more stressful. Remember, you don't have to pledge a house in the spring if you don't want to, but if you see something you like then go for it
