My sweet, sweet sorors, can you believe it? 98 years of Sisterhood and Friendship & Love! 98 years of reigning SUPREME in Service to ALL Mankind. Our Sorority has seen and been through challenges since the very beginning. Our Strong sisterhood survived and continues to thrive. Oh so many would LOVE to know what we’re talking about when we say we LOVE our AKA but only the chosen few will know.
I am so proud of OUR Founders for having the courage to go through with creating a sorority for and by black women and for having the perseverance to see her through her "growing pains" into what she is today. They believed in the 'vision fair' and stayed true to their vows until their last breaths.
Let us remember them on this day Sorors & thank them for this gift that is Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. !
