Aw, dang.
It's another way for websites to get your money. They'll get you to pay $X to find out one of two things: (A) no one was hunting you down for real, but if you'd like to participate in a process that will keep anyone from digging up any dirt on you, click here! or (B) They're one of those companies that sells your information, and then tells you that the inquiry was made so that you can "pay them to block your information from being sold".
Fastest way to make a LOT of money? Threaten identity theft.
Either way, I'd ignore it and scan my computer just in case.
