And I would rather not purchase a peppermint patty next to some pervert with dirty hands. Nobody ever goes "I'm gonna go buy a jimmy hat as soon as I get into the dorm". The dude is about to hit it, realizes he doesn't have one, or she complains, and then he runs out looking for one.
So yes, I don't want my peppermint patties coming from the same machine or next to a machine with weird smells and germs.
