Has anyone had lasik surgery?

My stepdad is nearsighted and he had it done a long time ago and said it was worth it!

My mom is farsighted, so you only get one eye done, and she said it great. She doesn't have to wear glasses anymore when she does cross stitch.

I'm farsighted like my mom but I'm not sure if I'll ever have it done. I don't even like going to the eye doctor. Anything having to do with my eyes, or anyone's eyes, grosses me out!!!
