Yeah, there are always those poor sports out there who write these kinds of opinion columns in campus newspapers. It happened when I was in school, and we all, of course, flooded the newspaper with angry letters. What actually was surprising was that so many of the editors and students running the paper were Greek, and we all thought, "How could you agree to print this trash?" Of course, our campus paper was so bad it was almost laughable, so no one on campus every took anything printed in there too seriously.
But there are some people who just don't like Greeks. One of my very best best friends told me she thought sororities were cults. And I said, "Then don't join one."
