Tan goes with EVERYTHING - a great purchase! Obviously, black or brown is natural, but grey works just as nice (navy and tan is awesome too). Maybe punch up with accesories like a red scarf and gloves - could go baby blue as well.

PS - Tip - be sure your boots have been treated for salt-resistance. Cities in the the snow belt between chicago and New York use a fair bit of salt, so protect your boots from salt stains (when they dry).
