I went to high school with someone named Sunshine. I'm not sure if it was her legal name - she was listed on the rolls as "Laura (Sunshine) Lastname".

There's a big Asian population at my school. In a few cases, there were students with names that I'm sure mean something nice in Chinese or Korean or whatever, but in English, not so much. For example: Lik Mi and Fruk Woo. They were teased mercilessly

A coworker told me recently that friends of hers had a baby not too long ago. The name they had picked out for a boy, was Kandam (sp?). Yes, pronounced exactly like "condom". My coworker talked them out of it...
