Then we had 8 the following semester and 9 after that. This past semester we starting with 9 and got 9 new members. They are at 12 for the fall tho because 5 of us graduated and 1 is desisterizing. Its small but I can't imaging being in a chapter of like 60+. Our campus celing (CAP/Total) is 45 an donly 1 sorority has that and all the other fraternities and sororities are well below that.

My experience was much like yours dznat187! When I joined, there were 5 actives, and 7 of us went thru the new mem. program that semester, but 1 sister graduated, another left because of grades etc.
Over my 4 years as an active member, we worked very hard and got our membership up to 29 at the time that I graduated this past semester. But I think the girls are starting out this fall with only 18-20 of those girls because of graduations and such.
I loved having a smaller chapter because it gave you more opportunities to really get to know your sisters. I think the chapter was the closest and the most 'hardcore' DZ when we were about a dozen strong. I'm now a proud alum '05, and look forward to helping my lil' chapter grow again.
