If you want, you can visit my chapter's website to see some of the things that they do. The address is http://www.geocities.com/alphathetaofdeltazeta/

I'm an alum now (graduated in '03), but when I was active we had around 120 to 130 members. It's at least that number now, but I think it may have even increased slightly. The funny thing is, when I was a pledge there were only about 60 or 70 of us, and we couldn't charter until we had 90. It was a big change seeing the chapter double in three years' time!

Achtung- they started doing tests again for the Fall 2003 class.

For your question, my old chapter is at a commuter college and we don't have houses. Our total is 55. The chapter website is studenthome.nku.edu/~deltazeta

Hope this helps!

I got you all beat. When I joined my chapter in fall 2003, there were 6 sisters. Two new members and two graduated so we still only had 6 after I got in. Then we had 8 the following semester and 9 after that. This past semester we starting with 9 and got 9 new members. They are at 12 for the fall tho because 5 of us graduated and 1 is desisterizing. Its small but I can't imaging being in a chapter of like 60+. Our campus celing (CAP/Total) is 45 an donly 1 sorority has that and all the other fraternities and sororities are well below that.

My experience was much like yours dznat187! When I joined, there were 5 actives, and 7 of us went thru the new mem. program that semester, but 1 sister graduated, another left because of grades etc.

Over my 4 years as an active member, we worked very hard and got our membership up to 29 at the time that I graduated this past semester. But I think the girls are starting out this fall with only 18-20 of those girls because of graduations and such.

I loved having a smaller chapter because it gave you more opportunities to really get to know your sisters. I think the chapter was the closest and the most 'hardcore' DZ when we were about a dozen strong. I'm now a proud alum '05, and look forward to helping my lil' chapter grow again.

Wow for my test we had to get a 100% including spelling, commas, periods and the like. Our CCD is a teacher so you get the idea. LOL

my chapter started this semester with 11 and got 9 new members durign informal recruitment and have 4+ already fro next semester (they can't take 1st semesters) and with a new formal recruitment, they should take in many more great women.
