ZTAngel,

I do not have stick straight hair, but I will try to help you as best I can. I would say to try this:

Wash your hair and leave it wet. Then part your hair into small sections and use mousse (is that how it is spelled?) to braid your hair with. Braid all of your hair like this and let it dry while in this style. Hopefully when your hair dries and you unbraid it, it should be wavy. The mousse should have helped the wave stay put. If you want bigger waves, then make the parted sections of your hair bigger.
