I have a story like that...
I moved to Savannah about 10 years ago, and my first job was teaching music at a Catholic school. In my 4th grade class, I had this AMAZING student. Incredibly bright, sweet, and one of those girls that you just know is going to grow up to do something brilliant, the kind that I looked at and said, wow, I hope I have a daughter like that someday. Several months after I started teaching, I started pursuing forming an alumnae chapter in Savannah and looked at my list of alumnae--and her mother was on the list!!! I called her and we chatted on the phone for probably an hour! She was the first AOII I met here, and let me tell you, it didn't take me long to figure out why her daughter was so brilliant, she was too!
