Everyone in my neighborhood would go to one 3 corner stores:

Stoll's Little Giant (corner of Princeton and Broad St.) where you could actually buy groceries on credit--anybody here go to one of those type of stores.

Van's Carryout (corner of Princeton and Town St.)

Yale and Town Carryout--my mother would play the lottery there.

Anyway, I would buy any Ferrara Pan candies:

Lemonheads
Cherry Chan
Cherry Clan
Johnny Apple Treats
Alexander the Grape
Boston Baked Beans
Mr. Melon

10 cents a box. You can't beat it.

I would also buy those (then 25 cents) Little Debbie singles.
Oatmeal Creme Pies
Zebra Cakes
Pecan Spinwheels
Fudge Swirls

Oh, and my all time favorite Hostess snack cakes (no longer made):

Chip Flips (c.1984)--two chocolate chip snack cakes with vanilla creme in the middle. Cost 43 cents. I would save up my pennies, nickels, and dimes to buy one, and it was heaven to eat.

Hostess Lights (c. 1990)--there were 3-4 products, but my favorite was an apple spice cup cake with real apple cinnamon filling in the middle. Dee-lee-i-o-shus!

Bring back the 80s just for old times sake. Please!
