I do agree that recruitment season may not be the best time for this thread as obviously not every org is represtented. I would just hate to think that some little PNM might read and think, "Wow no one mentioned ABC, does that mean they aren't a good org to be in?" I know it sounds out there- but I just think that would suck.
And naturally, we have not all had experience with all the other orgs. I know almost nothing about Tri-sig for example, because it was not on our campus or any other that I was close to. So, I would not be able to include them in a list of orgs I have respect for simply because I don't know. But I am sure that they have many wonderful aspects worthy of respect. I think this might be something that Honeychile is talking about. (Honey, if it's not I'm sorry I don't want to speak for you.)
Complete honesty- the org I have the most respect for is my own- mainly because it is the one that I know most about and am closest to. But there are also others that I have respect for because I have delt with some of them, though I know nothing about their national workings. There are also some orgs that I am sure are AMAZING nationally but I have lost some respect for simply because of the members on my campus that I had to deal with. It is completely subjective and while I personally am not offended, I can understand how someone might be.
I much prefered the "List something nice about all the NPS orgs" thread.
P.S. I like Pi Delta Pi.
