My mum and dad were a blind date. My mom had been engaged, but her fiance was killed in a car accident...mutual friends hooked them up, one date later, they were an item. 3months later, they were engaged...25 years later, here we are.
Pat and I met through a local music scene message board. We talked online for 5 or 6 hours the first night...and then every night after for about 3 months. Then finally he asked me to go out, so we did and it was AWESOME. 2 more dates that were also awesome...and then my parents found out about the age difference (me=16, he =21 at the time) and forbade us to see eachother. So back to phones and online for about 4 or 5 months...then finally around christmas my parents began to let us see eachother at my house or with a group of friends. On January 26th, we were official (day I got my DL too, so I can never forget!). It's been almost 4 years now, and my parents LOVE him.
