When I saw the badge on ebay, it was after I had gotten to know the ladies of my local Gamma Phi Beta alumnae chapter. I came across the badge and saw it had
just been listed with a Buy It Now price and rather than see it in the hands of a collector, I snapped it up for a GREAT price...Our local alumnae president, Coleen, is a Crescent Catcher and we talked quite a bit about saving badges. I began to see how much the badges mean to the sisters of Gamma Phi. It turned out to be a badge from 1913 that belonged to a charter member of the Omicron Chapter in Illinois.
My first initial contact with Gamma Phi was because of yet another badge that I had seen on Ebay. The rest is history!
