As regards the expected "reward" for these terrorists, I am reminded of the story of how a recently deceased terrorist finds himself before the Pearley Gates. He is informed by the AOD (Angel on Duty) that before his case can be acted upon there are some people who want to see him. He is directed to a large group of people in old fashioned clothes and is approached by a tall solidly built gentleman who inquires whether he is a terrorist. The newly arrived one nods and is immediately struck across the face several times as the tall man says "I am George Washington and I was a founder of the country you attacked and you can go to hell"! The next fellow walks up and kicks him in the butt saying "I'm Thomas Jefferson , I was a founder also, and you can go to hell"! The third man comes up, punches him in the nose and says, "I'm Patrick Henry and you know damn well where you can go"! The terrorist shrinks back from the crowd of people similarly dressed and looking very angry and runs back to the AOD and asks, "What is going on here? This is not the reception I was expecting!" The AOD replys, "Listen up you jerk, you got it all wrong, its not 72 virgins, its 72 Virginians!"
