If male suicide bombers get 72 virgins, what do the female bombers get?

Fundamentalist Muslim mythology has it that terrorist "martyrs" are greeted in heaven by 72 virgins. With Palestinian Arabs increasingly making use of female suicide bombers, we've often wondered what they get in heaven. Now we have the answer, thanks to a report in London's Sunday Telegraph from an Israeli prison:

One of the inmates, Ayat Allah Kamil, 20, from Kabatya, told me why she had wanted to become a martyr: "Because of my religion. I'm very religious. For the holy war [jihad] there's no difference between men and women shaid [martyrs]."

According to the Koran, male martyrs are welcomed to Paradise by 72 beautiful virgins. Ayat, as with many of the women she is incarcerated with, believes that a woman martyr "will be the chief of the 72 virgins, the fairest of the fair."

That is to say, the highest aspiration for a fundamentalist Palestinian girl is murder, suicide and prostitution. Has there ever been a more depraved culture?

I don't know... a culture in which the Opinion Journal is treated as news, or God forbid policy?

Isn't it funny how the reference to 72 virgins could really be a reference to 72 raisins?

Of course it's very difficult for Muslim scholars to scrutinize this as well as the definition of "jihad" these days given that their funding often comes from hardliners.

And why would a girl want 72 male virgins? Boy will she be disappointed.

As regards the expected "reward" for these terrorists, I am reminded of the story of how a recently deceased terrorist finds himself before the Pearley Gates. He is informed by the AOD (Angel on Duty) that before his case can be acted upon there are some people who want to see him. He is directed to a large group of people in old fashioned clothes and is approached by a tall solidly built gentleman who inquires whether he is a terrorist. The newly arrived one nods and is immediately struck across the face several times as the tall man says "I am George Washington and I was a founder of the country you attacked and you can go to hell"! The next fellow walks up and kicks him in the butt saying "I'm Thomas Jefferson , I was a founder also, and you can go to hell"! The third man comes up, punches him in the nose and says, "I'm Patrick Henry and you know damn well where you can go"! The terrorist shrinks back from the crowd of people similarly dressed and looking very angry and runs back to the AOD and asks, "What is going on here? This is not the reception I was expecting!" The AOD replys, "Listen up you jerk, you got it all wrong, its not 72 virgins, its 72 Virginians!"

No she won't get 72 virgins. She gets to be the pimp of the 72 virgins. Now that's funny!

I have always wondered what happened once the male had sex with all of the 72 virgins? What's next? Does he get 72 more virgins? If he did get 72 more virgins, then, he really didn't just get 72 virgins . . . he got an indefinate amount. Maybe he just gets 72 to start out with and continues to get 72 more virgins once he's "used" them up?

They don't think it through.

To help them think it through, I propose that 72 members of the opposite sex from their family are forced to work as prostitutes for life.
