i dont think he really deserved it. no one deserves a punch in the face like that. the dude came pushing from behind as if he was trying to act all bad and be on tv. it was all johanna's fault. her drunk azz started the whole thing.
it seems to me like the producers are trying to make a love match from the beginning. danny meeting up with melinda at the mountain top and wes with johanna at the pier. then they have the outcasts greet each other first.
