Kayak. It checks a bunch at once for you, so you don't have to waste time going to their different sites.

I am a travel agent. What I would recommend is using ANY of them, but when you find flights you like, go to the airline's site to book it. It will be the most accurate, and nobody will have a better price than the airline. If you're booking packages, cruises, etc., use a travel agent. They will pull your arse out of the fire in ways a website never could and they generally won't charge a fee for any services except airline tickets.

That's why Kayak is good. It gives you the prices at all the sites then diverts you back to the airline when you pick the flight you want. It's the easiest way to compare prices and flight time availability.

Good to know. I use an airline reservations system so my way beats the public, but I've hated whenever I've had to figure out what expedia was trying to tell me. Kayak sounds like a better way. Oh, and word to the wise, no fare is guaranteed until you PAY for the ticket, so if you find something that is way cheaper than what anyone else has, you probably don't really have anything. Or it could be a mistake, which does happen, so pull out that credit card FAST.
