Re: Pet rabbit's mysterious death

The rabbit lives outside, and my friend recently decided to allow her to roam freely around the fenced-in yard. This went fine without incident for over a week. But apparently last night, somebody had it in for the bunny.

My friend said that it doesn't look like the work of an animal because the body is untouched... just the head is gone. And she said that it's a fairly clean cut. So it looks like a person did it. Besides, an animal wouldn't have jumped back over the fence with the head. And an animal probably would have at least damaged the body, if it didn't eat it.

If a person did it, it was a cruel and horrible thing to do. Does anyone know of any weird rituals or anything that might explain why someone would have taken off with the head?

That's so awful

Did you friend call the police. Maybe they've had reports of animal cruelty in the area and they might have some idea who could have done this.
