I go to my local Unitarian Universalist church. People go to service dressed up or casual. Although I wear jeans to church services, I don't wear my letters (as in t-shirts and sweatshirts). However, I do wear them to church activities.

If I still had my lavalier, I would definitely wear that to the services. I think it is a nicer way to wear the letters in a semi-formal or formal establishment.
