I'm from DC and you are right this gets more bizarre by the day. My take is that the Congressman was messing around with Chandra even though he's married(like that has ever stopped anyone). I hate how he's so tight lipped about it. He should just fess up to it unless he had something to do with her disappearance. Which I believe he did.
