I too have developed "friendships" with SFs who are striving for the same thing as me. We support each other, give advice, encouragement,etc. However, I don't think I would feel comfortable meeting them. I know it sounds strange, but it's easier telling a complete stranger my deepest thoughts, than my girlfriend whom I've known for a long time. I wonder why?
