One of these times you should just tell them that and see them squirm! It's really no ones business but your own. I don't want them for my own selfish reasons, and I'm so tired of everyone assuring me that I will one day. How in the world do they know that I just can't have them and that their words aren't tearing me up inside? I'm sorry people are so unintentionally cruel, ree-Xi!

I agree. Tell them exactly why, and hopefully they'll learn a lesson and never ask such asinine questions of anyone ever again.

Oh, sometimes I do. I have left a few people with jaws dropped and I have to say, I don't regret it.

That's usually when hubby breaks out the "people are just making conversation." I know that he knows it kills me inside, and he's just trying to make me feel better.
