poll your guy friends-my initial thought(i am a mom) was that most guys i know would not want to have matching letters with their sister.

As a brother with a sister, I'd be in big agreement.

Maybe I'm having a slow day, but is this referring to matching style? Fabric?
If so, what would be the point?

Not brother/sister but I know my BF would think it was a horrible idea if I got us matching letters.

yes, id like to know too - does this mean same colors?
if so, since it's accepted practice to get letters in whatever color/print, why would it be a problem? i dont even see the point of it - its cute, i guess, for 2.5 seconds. and you dont even go to the same school.

Boyfriend/girlfriend letters seem like a terrible idea to me too, but that's a completely different scenario if you ask me.
I'm not opposed to sibling letters as a whole though. If my sister joins a sorority next year I think I would get us matching letters as an initiation gift to her, but that would me more of a "congratulations on initiation" thing than a "hey we shared a womb, lets get matching t-shirts" thing.

LOL at the boyfriend/girlfriend letters concept - when I was in undergrad I made a t-shirt (with letters - so crafty) using Care Bears fabric for my sister-daughter because we both liked them. My boyfriend at the time was a ZBT, and when his best friend (also a Zebe) saw my fabric he BEGGED me to make him one.
He wore that Zebe shirt with great pride! Not the same as matching with your girlfriend (or sister) but still anecdotal and (I think) funny.
