You're probably not mixed up; the article in the Bucknell paper includes this statement:
"Former KDR Vice President Chris Collier ’10 said in an e-mail that following the closure of the KDR house in December 2007, fraternity members made efforts to increase chapter GPA, complete additional service hours, and increase the amount of philanthropy dollars earned. The brothers were allowed back into the house in fall 2008, but in light of the recent eviction, it was 'a waste of time,' Collier said."
So it appears the timeline is kinda / sorta
Dec. 2007 - KDR house closed
Fall 2008 - KDR back, open
Jan 2009 - KDR closed
