Very interested to see where "Suzie" ends up!

For prefs, Suzie was invited back to:
Edges
Songs for a New World

She was very happy to be invited back to both!

At Songs for a New World, Suzie just felt at home. She really loved talking to the other girls who were preffing there, so she knows she would like pledging with them. The sisters continued to make her feel like a great fit in the group and she really thinks she would be happy here.

At Edges, Suzie was paired with a good friend. She loved talking to her friend and her friend said some very sweet things about how much she wanted Suzie for a sister. This was hard for Suzie, because while she likes Edges and feels like they really want her, she LOVES Songs for a New World and really feels at home in their sisterhood.

Suzie listed the chapters in this order:
1. Songs for a New World
2. Edges

Well, on Bid Day Suzie woke up really hoping for a bid from Songs for a New World...

So she was a little bit disappointed when she opened her bid and found that it was for Edges. Again, it's not that Suzie didn't like the girls she met at Edges; she was just surprised not to receive a bid from Songs for a New World because she had thought that they liked her as much as she liked them. She was a little confused as to what she "did wrong" at Songs for a New World.

Suzie is a happy member of Edges, though, and (as any disappointed PNM should) she put away her disappointment from Songs for a New World to enjoy her new sisters. She is looking forward to her years of membership in...

Even though I know this could always happen (getting a bid from your #2), I didn't see this coming for some reason.

I'm glad she is happy at Edges. It will grow on her.

Truly, I didn't, and I don't think Suzie did either. I don't think Suzie was promised anything by her #1 house... she just got a sense that they liked her as much as she liked them.

However, I'm so glad for her that she has a house that really seemed to like her all along... I think that's the most important thing, to be genuinely wanted.
