UGA has decided for the first time ever to host Spring Recruitment for ALL the sororities. It's the first week in February.

Wish the girls of Gamma Pi luck!

This is the first time that we're having formal recruitment for the spring semester. We also did formal recruitment in the fall, as usual. The rumors going around are that UGA would like to eventually phase out fall recruitment all together and strictly have spring recruitment.

The reason for the change this year is because for the first time ever, UGA has admitted a large number of freshmen students for the Spring semester who would be viewed as having a disadvantage if they were to wait and rush as sophomores in the fall.

recruitment at Maryland (Iota Omega) begins Jan. 30th and Bid Day is Feb. 9th.

The Gamma Xi chapter at Indiana University of Pa is having their spring rush this week. I believe they can only take 5 or 6 to make quota. last night was their first night and they gave out 3 bids. the last day of rush for them will be on the 28th. so they have many more chances to find some awesome girls i'll let everyone know how it turns out when i hear the news

Kappa Phi got 18 lovely new Zetas, quota was 21.

Gamma Beta - Washington College formal recruitment ended yesterday Feb 1st and they have 17 fabulous little ZTA's!! I don't know what quota was, but they are excited about all their new little ones!

Gamma Xi got 6 new members through informal recruitment and will be able to take one more new member when the newest alumna's paperwork goes through.

Thanks! I had to go through my head of what sisters live where because at one point we had 5 rachels in the sorority, but I know which one you are talking about we use to be roomies.
