This is really sad - I have a ton of respect for Kennedy, in that he's been a great Senator for Massachusetts. He's worked really hard for the Commonwealth, and has been willing to work with Republicans to get legislation pushed through (unlike Kerry, who is unwilling to work with Republicans and doesn't do anything for Massachusetts).
I completely agree...he has come a long way from his scandal ridden early years. My grandfather died of the same tumor but had a much worse outcome after surgery. He's actually been really lucky to have such a functional post-op period. Lets him get his affairs in order.
