Yes, I have noticed it! I think some of them are taking it to the extreme (common sense, ya know?)! If someone is only getting a few cents back, THEN ask "Would you like your change?" But $10 is a bit ridiculous. I went to lunch with someone once that told the person "___ yeah I want my change!" They had given the waitress 20.00 and their meal was only 8.00. I don't think that waitress will be asking that the same way anymore. I usually ignore it and say "yes".
