Ever had a cancelled pinning??

I am guessing that they had a pinning/candlelight/sweetheart ceremony scheduled, the pinnee had a blowup with her man and it's off, and the OP is in charge of ritual. Ours were never that elaborate but I guess some are.

If that's the case...don't make a big deal, just send an email via the chapter listserv (or however you communicate) that the ceremony was called off. No one needs to know anything more than that.

If it's you who were supposed to be pinned...just send a message to the ritual chair through whoever you had tell her about it in the first place or leave an anonymous note for the ritual chair. Again, the ritual chair shouldn't make a big deal, just say the ceremony was called off.
