See, what I was thinking was that they existed under another name in the 80s and got resurrected and renamed recently. And I dunno, but I have a problem with this.
Case in point,
The Fraternal Order of Beaux, Inc., more commonly known as the Delta Beaux/Gents (for which this dude once tried to recruit me) seems to have evolved into a Greek-letter service fraternity called
Gamma Beta Chi. And yes, change and evolution are good, but dudes.... Gamma Beta Chi was not founded in 1959.... to their credit, it was a good strategic move to distance themselves from a reputation of sidekickery and/or the unfortunate stereotype that most Beaux were gay.
