Um....
Fraternity, Sorority, and a Society.
They should add Joke to the list. That was mean but I'm sorry. I read some of the stuff on their website and I'm just confused... |
Like this?
A Fraternity, a Sorority and a Society were out one day playing a round of golf... Quote:

Whoa! LOL! Does that big "2008" in the right hand corner indicate the founding year? I can appreciate the work they're doing.

First Multicultural Fraternity Sorority Society?
When were these people founded? If they were founded recently (as in no more than 2 years ago), then they were definitely not the first multicultural coeducational GLO in existence. My organization Theta Delta Sigma Society, Incorporated, which is coeducational and multicultural, has been in existence since 2001, and we're not even the oldest organization of our kind.
 Why do these people call themselves Fraternity Sorority Society? |

Do organizations such as yours (and theirs, I guess) have rivals or friendly competition? |

Case in point, The Fraternal Order of Beaux, Inc., more commonly known as the Delta Beaux/Gents (for which this dude once tried to recruit me) seems to have evolved into a Greek-letter service fraternity called Gamma Beta Chi. And yes, change and evolution are good, but dudes.... Gamma Beta Chi was not founded in 1959.... to their credit, it was a good strategic move to distance themselves from a reputation of sidekickery and/or the unfortunate stereotype that most Beaux were gay. Well, I learned something, at least, I never knew what a "DiGamma" was until I googled it after reading the site. And after their explanation of why they are a "fratsorority" or "sorofrat" -- ????? -- this was deeeeepppp:

Despite its original purpose in the 1950s, depending on who you ask they escorted Sorors to class and some were the boyfriends of Sorors, there are Beaux/Gents and Deltas who took that organization to the extreme. That's neither here nor there. I guess it's good that they have their own since they were never officially affiliated with us, anyway. Quote:
