the emblems in the metal are our fraternities coat of arms, perhaps the most inspiring of all the emblems we keep, most chapters like to keep a representation of this coat of arms somewhere where the brothers can reflect upon it easily, my chapter, for instance keep an engraving of them in our foyer.
the ball state chapter had a coat of arms in the sidewalk leading up to their front door. obviously, when the property was no longer associated with our fraternity they went to lengths to take all related material with them. even if your coat of arms is not from ball state, it will find a loving home at my chapter's house.
